Consulting
UniTS advices local

and the public health

associations, in
accordance with
national laws.
Training,
seminars and non
formal education
UniTS organises
and develops training
courses addressed
to professionals
of the Not-for-Profit
Sector and Local
Authorities on the

UniTS implements
training activities

courses
Training courses
are organised at
different levels
considering the
organisation needs,
with didactic and
innovative educational
methods like e-learning
and appropriate
software. Lessons
are provided by
qualified teachers
and trainers selected
by the scientific
didactic committee.
- Seminars
Seminars have different
themes and topics,
and usually are
divided in three
parts: presentation
of the subject,
work groups monitored
by the trainers;
and evaluation.
- Non formal
education
Non formal education
refers to education
which takes place
outside of the formally
organised school
and the main goal
is to “Learn
by doing”.
Most of the training
courses are organised
at international
level.
The
Newsletter
The newsletter is
published monthly
by UniTS and includes
information about
grants, funds and
programmes from
the European Commission,
as well as national
and local institutions
which promote projects
in the Not-for-Profit
Sector.
Project
planning
UniTS plans and
implements national
and international
projects, also in
cooperation with
associations and
institutions of
the Not-for-Profit
Sector. On their
behalf, UniTS can
take care of all
stages of project
implementation as
well as of single
phases (partner
finding, planning,
project coordination,
implementation of
activities, financial
management). Since
its foundation UniTS
implemented projects
in the framework
of both various
European programmes
such as Leonardo
da Vinci, Socrates,
Grundtvig, Youth,
Daphne, INTI, Community
Action in the field
of Public Health,
Equal, Horizon,
Youthstart, and
national programmes
as European Social
Funds, National
Observatory for
Voluntary Service,
Centres to support
the Voluntary Service,
etc.
